The Banana Festival is a multi-cultural event celebrating the cultures of Africa, Asia, and the Americas that use the banana as a source of food, art, and culture.
With live bands, food vendors, a banana eating contest, carnival rides and so much more, it’s such an a-peeling way to spend summer!
KIDS ZONE!
The Banana Festival is very family-focused, with a great Kids Zone. Many of the activities are free! Activities included:
- Banana-themed art projects.
- Banana gardening.
- A game station.
- Performances by characters.
- Banana storytelling.
- Banana mural painting.
- Banana chill placemaking space.
