Summer FUN has arrived in the 916! Sacramento provides an abundance of outdoor events, festivals, markets, movie nights and concerts. Bust out your calendar and start pencilling things in! Below is a list of things you can do all season long plus a list of upcoming events in Sacramento where your family can get outside and enjoy the warm weather. 

We add events as we discover them, so check back often! And, of course, be sure to check in with the events calendar, as there is much more happening in Sacramento for families and kids!

The City of Sacramento operates 12 neighborhood pools, 4 wading pools, and the North Natomas Aquatics Complex. The North Natomas Aquatics Complex and Clunie Pool are open NOW with specific schedules. Other pools open June 15. Camp Pendola

Camp Pendola is a traditional resident camp for campers 7 to 17 years old. We offer one week themed sessions during June and July where campers enjoy hiking, archery, arts and crafts, and much more in an outdoor setting.

Teens interested in the visual arts are invited to one or all of these creative workshops.
