Sacramento START (Robla School District) fosters enthusiasm for learning through fun and structured activities in a safe and caring after-school environment. It's designed specifically for children in grades TK-6th grade. To ensure consistency in learning, students attend Sacramento START at least three hours a day, five days a week during the school year. The program includes three interrelated components: homework and assistance, enrichment (literacy), and recreation.
PS7 Elementary, PS7 Middle and Sacramento Charter High School all have After-School programming in order to support scholars in their own exploration of what is exciting and interesting to them, while also providing a safe space for students to be involved in extra-curricular activities.
The YMCA School Age program ensures that each child’s time is spent creatively and constructively, helping children grow physically and mentally while emphasizing personal development and YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
